I like this one because it’s a fan stating their opinion that Tom is up there with the Superman greats when it comes to representing Clark Kent and Superman.

I composed a list of my top 3 Green Arrow Smallville moments. Green Arrow is such a cool hero and lately he’s been one of Clark Kent’s (aka the Blur) best friends and ally so I wanted to list his the top moments that stuck out to me.

3 – Green Arrow putting the moves on Smallville’s Chloe

One of my favorite moments is when Ollie puts the moves on Chloe, and thing is she really doesn’t mind. It’s been a while for both of them to find love so it was cool to see them get together.

2 – Green Arrow taking on Zod alone.

Now Green Arrow knows that Zod had super abilities like Clark but he still chose to stand up to him. Any other non-super ability hero might have thought twice, but Ollie stood up and faced Zod like a real superhero. Even though he got his chest burned up with the Zod symbol, he came out on top.

Oliver Queen Reveals Himself to the Press he is Green Arrow

I don’t think anyone saw this coming, in Smallville 10: Episode 3 Supergirl where Oliver Queen calls a press conference and reveals that he is Green Arrow. I was shocked as everyone else, because it goes against the rules of superheroes revealing their identities. I guess that is why it’s definitely in my top Green Arrow Smallville Moments.

Bonus Green Arrow Smallville Moment:

My bonus moment… Green Arrow jumping out of Clark’s barn in Season 10 Episode 7 Ambush. I just like it because it was a really cool stunt.

Seems like Jonathan is Giving CK some Advice

So what can we expect to see from John Schneider?

Here are my guesses of what we can expect to see from Schneider:

• Guidance for CK: As when he was alive Jonathan always provided guidance and advice for CK. When the chips were down he’s been there for CK.
• the CK Bailout: When CK’s butt been on the burner, Jonathan was there to take it off. Remember the time when Johnathan asked Jor-El for powers so he can stop Clark when he was on the Red Kryptonite. Hopefully, CK’s past his Red Kryptonite days. But it would be nice to see Jonathan save the day once again.
• Closure: It’s been a while since CK had any type of encounter with Jonathan or his spirit, so maybe in some type of way, Jor-El can make it so they have that closure.

Either way, I’m glad John Schneider is back, and I can’t wait to see him in action again. I can’t see of a better way to start the end of the Smallville Series.

I’m feeling nostalgic

Nostalgic Smallville

This is my “I’m feeling nostalgic” Smallville Desktop Wallpaper. Who can forget season 1 episode 2 where Whitney and his pals pick Clark as the freshman scarecrow, and they actually string him up like a “scarecrow” with the S on his chest. I’ll always remember that episode, it was a great way to put the Superman “S” on Clark’s chest early in the series, kudos to writers and creators Al Gough and Miles Millar. When I’m feeling “Lets Go Retro Smallville” I take it back to season one again, lets just say I love season one. I call this one “The Family Smallville Desktop Wallpaper” because this is when everyone on the show was semi-happy with each other, fighting sometimes, just like family.

This wallpaper brings us back to the time…

• before Lex became LEX ;-(
• when Clark and Lex were friends
• when Pete, Chloe, and Clark was the crew
• when things in Smallville was simple (meteor freaks every week), but still exciting!

Now this is my “Let’s get the Smallville Mythology on” wallpaper.  I like this wallpaper because its cut from season 7, which is the season we meet Clark’s cousin Kara, and of course she’s flying so we think, “dude she’ll teach Clark how to fly”, but of course she doesn’t but it gives us hope. I also love the backdrop of Metropolis. It’s funny because in this wallpaper Clark has this intense look like, “Man I’m want to fly too. You can grab this wallpaper at OSCK Smallville Blog

Lois and Clark Wallpaper

Now for my favorite, and current, Smallville desktop wallpaper, I call this one “Lois and Clark”. I like this one because the Lois and Clark story is a huge part of the Superman Mythology and this wallpaper reminds me that Lois and Clark are going to get together eventually, and the cool thing about that is, we the viewers know Lois and Clark will get together, but the characters don’t know yet, which makes the Lois and Clark story exciting to watch, because we know something the characters don’t. 1 point for all Smallville viewers! – You can grad this wallpaper from hethler of hethler.blogspot.com/ at hethler.blogspot.com

The cast for Smallville is a talented group of diverse individuals. And I’m always interested in diversity so I’m starting a little series to research the backgrounds of these Smallville cast members.

Since there are so many talented individuals, cast for Smallville, I’ll focus on a few of my favorite cast members first. In future post for my Cast for Smallville Series, I’ll focus on some more of my favorites cast members and hopefully we share some favorites, so you get to learn some fun little facts about your favorite cast members, that you didn’t know.

So here we go, let’s start with the main man…

Tom Welling

There’s a few things that interests me about Tom Welling, first he seems like a down to earth person, a regular Joe that you would meet in college or play flag football with.

Second, bet you didn’t know Tom worked construction out of high school, and after construction he moved to Los Angeles and became a model. Guess he wanted to put those looks to use. Check out some modeling photos of Tom Welling.

Third, Tom starred (for a little while), beside Amy Brenneman, in Judging Amy, I love that show. He was Amy’s younger love interest, interesting huh. He played the role well.

Davis dies in a liquid cell of Kryptonite after Chloe pulls the switch.

Found Luthor’s Veritas diary, and discovered there were two ships that landed in Smallville the day of the meteor shower, Clark’s and Davis’s. Clark is the Traveler and Davis is Clark’s ultimate adversary (remember the two headed dragon).

Clark

Didn’t do much of the Red-Blue-Blur act this week it was all about Chloe and Davis Bloom. Clark did find evidence of a serial killer, took the evidence to Tess, she shot him down to run it on the front page of the Daily Planet.

Davis Bloom

Cooked Chloe dinner, cut his finger, Chloe saw him healed instantly and got a clue he’s not normal. Clark busted in on Chloe and Davis’s dinner, so Davis left to fill Doomday’s killing appetite.

Tess

Caught Davis in the act of dumping a body in the field that Clark and his ship landed, then she blew up Davis in his car, but he survived, healed the next day.

Chloe and Clark

Went to investigate Davis’s blown up car, Clark x-rayed the field and discovered the field is where Davis dumps all his victims’ bodies.

Tess and Davis

Tess houses Davis as he heals. When he’s better, tells him he needs to fulfill his destiny as Clark’s ultimate adversary and put Clark to the test so Clark can become the Superman he’s suppose to become. Davis knocks Tess out and leaves.

Chloe and Davis

Davis goes to Chloe and ask if she will be with him, Chloe says no, Davis ask him to help kill him since she won’t be with him. Chloe takes Davis back to a Luther Lab to kill him with liquid kryptonite.

Clark, Chloe & Davis

Clark superspeeds to the lab, tells Chloe not to kill Davis, to give him another chance because he didn’t have the same chances to have a normal life. Chloe throws the switch, Davis dies, Clark is hurt too because of the liquid kryptonite.

Davis & Chloe

Davis is still alive, the kryptonite made him stronger, he appears a day later and ask Chloe to stay with him because she calms him from turning into Doomsday, she stays because she cares so much for Clark she doesn’t want Davis to hurt him.

A few reasons I don’t hate Smallville

I love Superman

There are not many chances to watch a good Superman story. We have the movies, and some past series: Superboy, The Great Adventures of Superman, and who can forget the great Lois and Clark. But I enjoy Smallville, because it’s the best Superman story that is currently being told.

I like to watch an original spin on a story

Even though Smallville is the story of Clark Kent in his younger years, it’s an original spin because it tells the story of a young Clark Kent as he develops, which has never been seen on television.

I like drama

Smallville hits on the drama, especially by showing the sacrifices Clark goes through on a “weekly” basis. We don’t see those dramatic sacrifices in depth in the Superman movies or comics, but we do in Smallville.

So as long as Smallville’s writers keep telling me the Superman/Clark Kent story in a new way, and keeps evolving as they tell it, I’ll keep watching. Thank you Smallville writers and creators.

Tom Welling seems like a lucky man, meaning he hit the jackpot when he met his wife Jamie White. I say this because…

1. Tom met his wife Jamie White before his success with Smallville, and she’s been with him throughout his success, how often do you see that.
2. They both were formal models so they have something in common.
3. She actually looks like a real woman, not a fake Barbie Hollywood Doll (a definite plus)
4. And from what I’ve seen she seems like a really decent person.

Currently, Kristin Kreuk isn’t married to anyone… or let me correct that, I don’t think she’s married to anyone. According to a lot of Kristin Kreuk’s, Who’s Dated Who Website Fans, Kristin should be married to Smallville leading man Tom Welling, who plays Clark Kent on the show.

Kristine Kreuk Formally Dated…

Many sites have reported Ms. Kreuk dating Mark Hildreth but it seems like that relationship is old news. So for now we don’t know if Kristin Kreuk is married or dating, and she probably doesn’t want us to know. Let’s just hope CW keeps producing quality episodes of Smallville, and Kristin’s character Lana keeps kicking butt.
