I enjoyed this episode, I really did. Reckoning started out grea, first Clark sharing his secret with Lana, teleporting her to the Fortress of Soliture, showing her his powers by super-propelling her to an ice-ledge, where he drips the M-BOMB on her…very cool. This episode threw me for a loop because I thought Clark and Lana was going to be together, she said Yes for gosh sakes, and I thought everything was going to work out for them, it would be him and her against the world, then after 10 minutes reality sets in and after the commercial break Lana dies! Then after Clark was given another chance to make things right I kinda new Jonathan was going to bite the bucket (just due to the previous Superman story-line). To bad… John Schneider was a great addition to the show and he will be missed. I know producers/writers will have him back in some shape or form.
One of the other compelling events in the show is Lionel trying to blackmale Jonathan, with what appears to be dirt on Clark (mostly likely a shot of Clark doing something “super-stupid” in public like catching car, heating his girl-friend’s hot chocolate with his heat-vision at the ice skating rink, cathing bullets in his hand in public, etc. you pick one. Lionel trying to blackmale the Kents show that Lionel knows about Clark’s abilities and something big is coming up because he’ll be moving his queen in for check-mate soon.
I think Jonathan dying and Lionel moving in for the kill totally changes the dynamic of the show. Now Clark has to grow up, and he’ll probably be going to the Fortress of Solitude to get his super-traning so he can learn how to fly or at least make some icicles with his breath… he has to learn something new. I’m very eager to see where he and the show goes from here.

Clarks is going to have to step up now. He has to let go of Lana for sure now. Geez but that was getting old.
Maybe they’ll start heating things up between Clark and Lois. Who knows tho. Maybe they’ll bring in another love interest.
I think Clark is going to end up with Chloe. And she is going to ghost-write under the name Lois Lane. That would be Cool. I really don’t think Clark will work with Lois, she’s not his type.
